The Wisdom and the power of Chakra system.

The chakras are energy centers or vortex of energy in our body in which energy flows through. Chakra means Wheel in Sanskrit. There are 7 major and thousands of minor chakras that function in our body. As with all things in reality, they are linked to sound, light and color.
So what are they? And why they hold so much importance to our life with regards to every aspect?
Blocked energy in our 7 chakras can often lead to illness so it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely. Every thought and experience you’ve ever had in your life gets filtered through these chakra databases. Each event is recorded in your cells, so when chakra energy is blocked or misdirected, emotional and physical illness can arise.

All life experiences have an affect on us. Some are positive and some negative. It is these negative experiences which can manifest themselves physically in the form of dis-ease. Eg: maybe for over the years we have been in a situation where we have felt unable to, for some reason or the other, to speak our mind or express our feelings or needs fully, now, this can manifest as a problem in the throat chakra because the throat chakra relates in the spiritual aspect to self expression. Therefore if our self expression has been blocked, the energy in this area will not be free flowing.

The state of each chakra thus reflects the health of a particular area of the body. It also reflects your psychological, emotional and spiritual well being.

There exists a lot of techniques to balance chakras. Most techniques are used to open chakras. It makes no sense to make over active chakras less active, as they are compensating for other chakras. To restore compensation they will be over active again. Therefore, to stop them from compensating, the chakras they are compensating for must be opened.
Next post will be dedicated to some techniques to balance/energize chakras like crystala energy, yoga, guided meditation, color therapy , seed matra chanting etc.
